So all the Software pieces I need are done. C++ where needed, MMCA (the Mean Field approach) functional.

And much faster indeed.

Next up

I need to make sure the comparison of results between MC and MMCA is consistent. Then run MMCA (should take much less time) on several networks.

Then move on to the redaction of the final dissertation.

observation

Lately I am concerned with our World of “always more, always faster”. Must be because I read classics of distopian futures?

Anyhow, the point is: I am grateful I have the time to do this project slowly.

I am also glad I chose to spread the Master over three years. I don’t think I could have digested the contents of it scramming all of it in one year, and even if I had not worked at the same time… Spreading over a few years has allowed sleepless nights pondering 🤔 which wouldn’t have happened otherwise.

Oh well.
