So the “summer time” has passed.

I’ve decided I would focus on my overall health for a few months, and if I prioritize that, it will affect my output for the blog… But it’s going to be worth it.

So I am thinking about what’s next.

Short term, I think I’ll do some simple exercises taking inspiration from random chapters in the many books I have on my shelves. Anything from implementing an interpolation algorithm, to a tabu search, in R (or maybe sometimes with some RCpp).

Or maybe I should dive a bit deeper into NLP applied to logs, or the more interesting Learning Classifier Systems from Holland.

Or I might want to simulate some impact on cyber security of say the lack of good inventories (or subsets thereof).

I don’t know. There is no lack of material, that’s for sure.

But I will take it slow for a few more weeks (weekend plans ahead, and quite a bit of work these days…).

Anyhow, this is just to mark the new start. We’ll see!
